As all dog owners know, not every type of human food is safe for dogs. Some of us have plenty of experience with dogs who beg or whine while we eat dinner. Who could say no to those puppy dog eyes?

Lucky for you—and your dog—there are lots of yummy fruits and vegetables that are safe for them to eat. Plus, most of these real life dog treats are filled with nutrients!

Before you give your dog a new type of food, consider talking to the vet. Additionally, be careful not to give a dog very much fruit at once because it contains sugar, which can be detrimental.
