Sometimes things happen in life that we have no explanation for.

There are times in life when an event occurs that we can’t really explain, and we call it a “miracle.” Some even believe that angels offer their assistance when they’re needed most.

While not everyone believes angels are real, or that the impossible can happen – the following story might change some minds.

J.T. Parker became a hero when he was just eight years old. One day, he was faced with an impossible task — he had to rescue his dad.

However, J.T. claims that he wasn’t alone.

The boy believes “angels” must have assisted him during the incident.

Alone with his dad

It all started when J.T., Mason, J.T.’s teenage brother, and his father, Stephen Parker, were working on their car in the garage at home in Sugar City, Idaho.

J.T.’s 17-year-old brother accidentally cut his hand and went inside for first aid.

While his son was away, Stephen continued to work on the vehicle. In an interview with East Idaho News, he explained:

“We were pulling the engine out of the car, and after we got it jacked up, I climbed under there to take the axels off.”

Trouble started

“The one axle came off pretty easily, but the other side wasn’t coming off.”

J.T.’s father made a bad decision by jostling the second axle. The Toyota Prius slammed into him, pinning him beneath the vehicle.

Stephen’s life was in serious jeopardy.

He screamed for J.T. to help him, but he didn’t think his young son could jack the car from his chest.

Yelling for help

“I yelled to J.T. on the other side of the car, ‘Jack it up quick! Jack it up quick!’” Stephen told East Idaho News.

“I couldn’t move at all. I was totally trapped, and then I passed out. It was all in his hands, and I thought, ‘This is it.’ There’s no way he can jack up this car because it took my 17-year-old son and I both to jack it up the first time.”

J.T.’s father struggled to breathe.

Time was running out, and J.T. knew it was up to him to save his father.

Only 50 lbs

Yet, the boy was just 50 pounds, so it didn’t seem like he’d be able to jack the car up himself.

For the next 15 minutes, J.T. kept jumping on the jack handle as the car slowly lifted off of his father.

“It was scary, and I didn’t think that I could jack the car up, but I just kept on trying,” J.T. recalled.

Getting help

Eventually, the car began to slowly rise. J.T. dashed inside and got his brother to call for help once it was high enough off his father.

Stephen doesn’t remember much of what happened because he passed out.

“All I remember is I felt peace,” Stephen shared.

No explanation

“I remember seeing white, like a nice happy day. The clouds were going by, and everything was happy and peaceful.”

J.T.’s mother, Jodi Parker agreed that there was no other earthly explanation for what happened.

“This whole thing is a miracle. There’s no other way to describe it,” Jodi said.

Surviving the scary ordeal

Luckily, Stephen walked away from the terrifying incident with only 13 broken ribs.

The family believes angels helped J.T. lift the car, specifically Stephen’s grandfather and sister who have passed. They even filmed a video of the boy trying to recreate the scene and once again jack up the vehicle. However, he wasn’t able to do so.
