Marcus Vance recently took to Twitter to ask his followers – “what’s the biggest problem with your name?”
Of course, the responses came flooding in. His initial tweet about his name problem is below.

Me: "Hi, I'm Marcus. Nice to meet you."
Business people: "Hi, Marcus. Do you go by Mark?"
Me: "No. If I did then don't you think I'd introduce myself as that?"

People, for some crazy reason, think that since her first name is Chesney, that she could somehow possibly be related to the country singer Kenny Chesney. What?!
Jenine struggles with people want to not only say her name incorrectly but also tell her how she should be spelling it. Annoying.

It’s not every day that you meet someone named Treg, so, he’s got to expect that people’s first go-to in their brain is Greg. Annoying to correct people all the time but he has his parents to thank.
Cristina is better off just spelling her name slowly every time someone asks what her name is. Because leaving things out and adding other letters gets confusing.
It can be a bit confusing that the word ‘rough’ is pronounced ‘ruff’ but the word ‘slough’ is pronounced ‘slew.’ So with a last name like Hough, it’s going to be trouble.
There are so many words out there that sound exactly the same but have totally different meanings. This guy likes to have fun with the name of his hometown of Bourne.
Here’s another case where people want to go straight in for a nickname that was never there in the first place. Please call me by what I introduced myself as.
Why would anyone introduce themselves as “just” something? “Just Robert,” “Just Ashley,” “Just Tina”? It’s Justyna.

When your name is Martina but everyone keeps calling you Martini, it’s about time you just belly up to the bar and have a couple of martinis to keep yourself from going insane.
