I don't think anyone was expecting slick moves like these.

Not all videos on the internet are positive. But there are plenty out there that guarantee a lighthearted, entertaining watch.

Take dance-offs, for instance. These videos always tend to be cheesy, uplifting, and pretty hilarious.

The choreographed dance-offs are pure comedy gold – but spontaneous dance-offs can be just as amusing.

When one rodeo clown invited a cop to dance with him at the Fiesta Days Rodeo in Spanish Fork, Utah, the crowd knew they were in for a treat.

JJ Harrison, the well-loved rodeo clown in question, decided that the police officer, who was providing security at the event, needed to lighten up a bit.

Harrison isn’t afraid to get goofy with his audience.

The former teacher is well-known for being witty and doesn’t think twice about pulling hysterical rodeo arena antics that make him look a little bit silly – all in the name of comedy.

He’s often doing things like donning inflatable suits and riding horses, or showing off his dance moves while he grins behind his clown face paint.

But this time, he wanted to do something different.

Harrison decided that the best way to shake things up was to invite the police officer and a rodeo queen to a dance-off competition – center-stage in the ring!

In the video, which has more than 2 million YouTube views, the rodeo clown shouts, “I got an idea!”

He adds:

“We’re gonna have a little dance off – this should be a lot of fun, don’t ya think? How many of you in Spanish Fork wanna see Officer Adams get a little jiggy with it?”

Of course, the crowd is all for it, and their loud applause indicates their approval.

The next thing Officer Adams knows, he’s on his way into the ring, somehow now roped into participating in an impromptu dance competition.

The officer, standing slightly awkwardly next to Harrison, tells the host that “cops don’t dance”.

Harrison’s response? He shuts him down instantly!

“You’re a liar. Have you ever seen the village people?”

Harrison then announces that the soundman will “throw the perfect song that your hips cannot deny” – and we know there’s no going back for the cop now.

Perhaps you weren’t expecting much from Officer Adams – which is proof that we shouldn’t be so quick to assume!

Now that he knows he has to do this, the officer decides on 100% commitment.

His moves are elevated above the typical “dad dancing at a wedding” performance. He bops his head, clicks his fingers, wiggles his bum and does a funky chicken-style chest bounce.

And that smile on his face says it all – he’s loving it!

Harrison reminds us that this is a competition, inviting the rodeo queen to give it all she’s got.

But it quickly becomes apparent that she doesn’t have a patch on Officer Adams!

Naturally, the only thing left to do is play Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” and have the officer teach everyone his slick moves.

As the cop does more bum-wiggling and hip-swiveling, Harrison and the rodeo queen do their best to mimic him.

The cop definitely won this one – just look at him go!

If you haven’t seen it yet, this video promises to be one of the funniest dance-offs you’ll ever see. Check it out below!
