Nothing puts a smile on a child’s face like hearing her parents’ voices. Children are smart enough to know that their parents are a source of comfort, protection, and guidance.

From an early age, babies learn that anything they need in life will come from their parents. When they cry, it is always their parents who come to the rescue. Children develop knowing that their parents love and care for them.

So it should come as no surprise that hearing the sounds of parents speaking will light up a child’s face. The child knows that when her parents are around, she is safe and secure.

It turns out that when parents sing children become even more excited. Singing is a universal way of expressing joy, and children can easily pick up on this positivity. When the parents start to sing, the baby’s face will light right up.

This is exactly what happened when two Israeli parents started singing to their little girl. Yoni and Nina Tokayer are the proud parents of their young daughter, and they love to sing her songs.

In fact, the couple has formed their own musical group, which they call Yonina – a combination of both of their names. They are currently located in Tel Aviv, and they love making their little girl smile with their music.

One day the duo decided to celebrate an upcoming holiday with song. There were just a few weeks left before Tisha B’av, so the couple recorded a little concert. They performed a song for their daughter, and they tried to capture the moment on video. But when they went to replay the video, they realized that all had not gone according to plan.

“At the end of the trip we found out the video was without sound,” Yoni and Nina explained to their rapidly-growing following. This was certainly startling news, but the couple didn’t let it get them down.

“We shot again in the car,” they shared. “We chose to do the vocal version of singing ‘One Day’ by Matisyahu. These are days of ‘Bay’ encouraging us to dream of a world where we want to live and build it together.”

The two sat in the car and redid their big video shoot – and this time their baby girl was in the fame. Both Yoni and Nina have incredible voices, but their little girl is truly the star of the show. Her reaction when her parents start singing to her is just so adorable!

The baby starts off by looking around the car as her mom begins, “Sometimes I lay inside the room and thank God I’m breathing.” The young girl’s interest is piqued when dad joins in on the song.

The two create a beautiful harmony; it isn’t hard to see why they love singing together! Their voices combine together to create a vibe of positivity and love.

As the duo belts out “I know someday it will all turn around” their daughter really starts getting into the groove. The baby has a huge smile on her face, and at this point she begins clapping her hands to the beat. She is so enthralled with the music!

As the family jams together, their love for each other is on full display for their viewers. They are so happy to be together, and that joy spreads to anyone who watches them perform.
