The bond between a father and his child is truly remarkable.

The video of a father singing to his deaf son has recently gone viral and for the best reason there is for something to go viral.

In the video, 25-year-old Zach Oxendine can be seen singing to his son, Judah, in their North Carolina home. Zach is holding his little boy while crooning Lee Brice‘s “Boy.”

The country song is about the love between a father and son, with lyrics like:

You’re gonna be so stubborn
You get that from your mother
I already see it now, you weren’t built for backing down

While it is wonderful to see a video of any father and son bonding, this video is infinitely more special, as Judah is deaf and has cerebral palsy.

Zach was overcome with emotion as his mother filmed him, but he continued to sing to his son, and eventually, little Judah looked up at his father and smiled.

And thankfully his mother urged him to keep singing because his son had the sweetest reaction!

After that sweet smile, Zach couldn’t fight back the tears! Could you? That little smile is just too cute!

“It’s just a truly magical moment between me and my son — every time I watch the video back and see his smile, I tear up,” Zach told StoryTrender.

Smiling is nothing new to Judah, despite how much he has been through. He was born at just 23 weeks, weighing only 1 lb., 8 oz. He suffered from bleeding on both sides of his brain and several operations early one.

Zach tried to hide behind a pillow as he wiped away tears after his emotions overcame him when Judah blessed him with a smile.

Even though Judah has been through so much, his father told StoryTrender just how strong his son is.

“I can remember even when Judah was in the NICU, he was smiling. Since he was born and aware he was in the world, he’s never stopped smiling.”

This is one of those incredible feel-good videos that bright any bad day you might have. If you know anyone in need of a smile today, make sure you spread this family love with them.
