Girl and mom break the internet with adorable Frozen ‘Open Door’ car karaoke
This made my day, and you can tell this comes naturally for them.

There’s nothing more adorable than when children sing along to their favorite tunes. Children have their own distinctive music tastes, but some songs, of course, are designed purely to appeal to them. Frozen’s “Love is an Open Door” is one of them.

The song, written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, is sung by Anna and Hans in the 2013 hit Frozen movie.

In the song, Anna explains how lonely she feels after being shut out by Elsa for so many years, and Hans promises that he’ll never let Anna feel lonely from now on. It’s a song of love and acceptance, so it’s no wonder that it has proved so popular with both children and adults.

There are plenty of cute videos of kids making the song their own on YouTube, but one of the most popular is a video of a little girl and her mom, who lip synced to the song in their car back in 2014.

In the video, which has more than 12 million views and counting, little Teigan takes the role of Anna, while mom becomes Hans. Each of them lip sync to their character’s lines, and the whole thing is beyond adorable.

Kudos to Aubrey, Teigan’s mom, who takes on her role of Hans with all the enthusiasm in the world. But Teigan definitely wins points for cuteness. The little girl giggles and grins throughout the song, but she doesn’t miss a single line. Her lip sync inputs are spot-on and she’s clearly loving getting to play Anna.

There’s a lot of love between Aubrey and Teigan, which makes the song all the more perfect for the pair to perform. They grin at one another as they lip sync their lines, mimic the character’s dancing and facial expressions, and even form their hands into an adorable love heart shape at the end.

Speaking about the crazy response to her video on The Ellen Show, mom Aubrey admitted that she thought she’d only get around 50 likes after she shared it to her Facebook. But then, the next day, Aubrey woke up to discover the video had 100,000 shares, and everyone was telling her to put it on YouTube. So that’s exactly what she did.

Within days, the video had racked up 3 million views. Of all the different takes on the Frozen songs that had made it onto YouTube, there was something adorable about Aubrey and Teigan’s lip sync that people just couldn’t resist.

Since her first YouTube video shot to fame, Aubrey posted a couple of other lip syncs with Teigan to follow, including a lip sync of Frozen’s “For The First Time in Forever“. Though the videos racked up a few hundred thousand views, they never quite hit popularity like their initial performance.

It’s unusual to see people lip syncing to songs on YouTube, especially as generally, little kids’ voices sound incredibly sweet when they take on their favorite songs.

But amusingly, Aubrey shared a video to YouTube titled “This is why we lip sync! Lol Teigan singing”, which showed her daughter singing in front of the mirror. Truthfully, she probably needs a little vocal work – and perhaps she looks more adorable when she’s silent.
