We’ve all seen horses who are just downright breathtaking. Take Frederik the Great, for example. He’s a Friesian stallion that became an internet superstar last year as “the world’s most handsome horse.”

Well, move over Frederik!

Meet Morestead… a veteran racehorse in a three-piece suit who is being touted as “the most dapper horse in the world.”

Not only is he wearing a Harris Tweed suit, but he’s also rocking a tie and a flat cap, and it’s absolutely adorable. Morstead donned this new look in honor of the beginning of the 2016 Cheltenham Festival, an annual affair where several horse races take place in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in the UK.

The world’s first horse-sized Harris Tweed suit was designed by Emma Sandham-King, a former Alexander McQueen apprentice who is a stylist for celebrities.

You can call him handsome or you can call him dapper. Whatever you call him… Morestead looks good and dresses better than most guys you know.

“Creating the world’s first tweed suit for a horse has been one of the biggest challenges that I have faced in my career as a designer,” Sandham-King told Telegraph.

The suite took about four weeks to make and about 59-feet of tweed. William Hill betting website commissioned the suit to be made for the festival.

“Tweed is undergoing a massive revival and this year’s Cheltenham Festival will see the most tweed worn since the 1960s,” Sandham-King said.

An estimated 200 miles of Tweed is worn annually by festival spectators. That’s enough tweed to stretch from Cheltenham to Ireland.

“Some models can be real divas, but veteran racing horse Morestead was calm and a pleasure to work with.”

Sir AP McCoy, a recently retired 20-time champion jockey, wore a suit that matched Morestead’s.

“I have many fond memories of racing at the Festival among the sea of tweed-wearing racegoers,” McCoy said. “I’ll be watching from the side-lines for the first time this year and rather than strapping on my jocket silks. I’ll be joining the punters and hopefully tipping a few winners.”

“Tweedtastic,” said one woman on Twitter

“When is tweed suit for dogs coming out?” another asked.
