Being a horse isn’t easy. You have to walk around all day looking all studly and courtly while being admired for your raw power and beautiful shiny coat.

Not only are they stunningly majestic but horses are also magical healing beings.

The horses at Equinisity Retreats really have their work cut out for them. Equinisity Retreats offers “life changing” transformational journeys and retreats at a location in Canada described by Ryan as a “transformational vortex.” People who attend their retreats spend time with horses to foster spiritual and personal development through the power of horse therapy and nature.

You can get a sense of what a stunningly special place Equinisity Retreats is in the video above, which is a part of the award-winning movie “Herd,” that was filmed at the retreat.

“They are unique in that they are all one family and have been born and raised with love and freedom to live as wild horses in their family group while sharing a deep level of connection and communication with humans,” writes founder Liz Mitten Ryan on YouTube. “People come from all over the world to experience a life-changing journey with nature and horses at Equinisity Retreats.”

Ryan says her horses are a family of teachers and healers that change lives.

“The horses will heal everybody,” Ryan explains in the movie clip. “They see that invisible around us, they can feel the energy that’s not resonating the right way and they’ll go in there and correct it. I believe animals are the higher beings. I believe we have a lot to learn from them.”

The horses at Equinisity Retreats are said to help people reconnect with themselves and the oneness of all things; revitalize and heal the mind, body, and spirit; dispel illusion; shift consciousness and raise one’s personal vibration as well as the vibration of the entire universe.

Now, that sounds like a lot of work and responsibility for a horse!

That’s why, when the opportunity presents itself, the horses at Equinisity Retreats will take a break from their demanding job of being important healers of human souls.

When it’s time for a break, they like to let loose… literally.

Ryan posted a video of her equine associates kicking back, taking a snooze and, well, freely letting some farts fly.

“This video is just for fun and to show how relaxed and happy these horses are,” Ryan writes. “They will comfortably lie down and sleep with a barn full of visitors because they are loved and safe.”

It’s absolutely hilarious and makes us relate and connect to these powerful creatures a little bit more.
