Becky Holden McGhee posted to Facebook recently to share the life hack she discovered to put an end to torn up cereal boxes and stale cereal. “Had to share this! In the video she posted, Becky first folds the shorter two flaps into the cereal box. Then folds one of the longer sides in as well. After that she pinches the short sides so that they are folded, pointing in. Lastly, she just slips the remaining long side into the slot the pinched folds have created and the box is perfectly sealed.

No more stale morning cereal. No more torn up cardboard pieces. No more boxes never staying closed. Not only is this convenient, but it makes the boxes look more sleek and organized; almost as if they were made to be folded that way all along. Not to mention, it makes taller boxes fit into shorter cabinets much easier.

And thousands more have shared and commented on it with gratitude for sharing something that was so simple and overlooked.

The post originally started out as a photo, and when her friend inquired how she did and requested a video, Becky thought it was rather funny, but would give it a shot.

“It was accidental, I never in a million years thought it would be viewed 3 million times!” she said in an interview with Bored Panda.
