If you’ve never seen a live parade, you are definitely missing out. It is incredible to hear the music and watch the performances in person. Still, most of us don’t have the time or money to travel around the world just for the sake of seeing a parade.

Luckily, we have the internet. Thanks to modern technology, you can see the wonders taking place around the world without actually having to spend a fortune seeing it first hand. This magnificent performance is one of the many events taking place around the world that will make you glad that video cameras exist.

The soldiers of the Royal Thai Navy are expert warriors, but that is not the only talent they possess. Being in the military means being quick on your feet – it is essential in the event of a battle. These men are trained to be able to spring into action at a moment’s notice. Combat, however, isn’t the only thing these skills are good for.

They also make great training for entertainment. Sure, this isn’t the primary purpose of the navy, but it is a real treat to watch these soldiers perform. One performance in particular is utterly unforgettable.

The men attempted to apply the timing and techniques of synchronized swimming on land. It may come as a surprise, but their efforts resulted in total success. You will be amazed by how talented these men truly are.

The soldiers stood in a line as they prepared for the parade. The band began to play a popular song that is familiar to many of us, especially those of us who will always be children at heart. As the first notes to Disney’s “It’s A Small World,” written by the Sherman Brothers, were played, the men began their amazing routine.

They started out with the military march, a sight many of us would expect from a royal navy. Their feet moved up and down in extraordinary rhythm; these soldiers really had their timing down. But the audience was in for a big surprise.

Suddenly the music changed. Europe’s “The Final Countdown” came on, and everything was different. The man standing on the far left jumped high into the air, and he started a chain reaction that was simply incredible.

One after another, the soldiers rose and fell. A wave spread through the line as helmets bobbed up and down, all in a row. When the last soldier had completed his jump, the man on the left shifted his rifle. Each soldier followed the movements of the man to the left of him, so that the whole line was alive with movement.

The magic wasn’t finished yet. Slowly the soldiers shifted from moving their arms to readjusting their whole bodies. They created another wave – this time in slow motion. Their perfect synchronicity is hypnotizing to watch.

Once the wave had washed over the whole line, the performance became truly stunning. These people really captured the visuals of a flowing body of water.

The wave came back and forth through the line of soldiers as the music played on. This routine must have taken hours of practice to perfect, and as the Royal Navy the performers couldn’t let the audience down. Though the dance is electric and moving, each soldier retains a sense of rigidity. They may be dancing, but they are still acting with the utmost attention to detail.

This performance reminds us of something we are all too familiar with. Can you guess what it is? A line of dominoes! These men perfectly imitate the effects of dominoes crashing into each other after they have been lined up and evenly spaced.

Now that you see the domino effect, I bet your whole perspective on the performance is shifted. I have never seen anyone so perfectly replicate the movements of dominoes falling into each other. Of course, these soldiers don’t fall to the floor. But the way they rise and collapse during their wave is very similar to the playful pattern.
