As the East Coast prepared for one of the biggest impending snow storms of the year, Twitter user @mckellogs was extremely worried. However, not for herself or her family, but instead for the family’s pet, a beautiful white horse named Tango.
While horses are generally considered to be pretty intelligent animals, it’s clear that there are always exceptions to every rule.
Tango is one of those rare outliers who unfortunately drew the genetic short straw, at least according to @mckellogs who refers to the animal as the world’s stupidest horse.
Tango’s antics in the past apparently made it clear to the family that he wasn’t the brightest horse in the barn.
When it gets cold outside, most farm animals do about what you would expect. They snuggle up in the barn next to a bail of hay and try to stay as warm as possible. Tango, on the other hand, does the opposite.
That’s right, they literally have to trap Tango in the barn so he doesn’t do anything stupid.

Can you find Tango in the photo above? Although it’s quite hard to see, the animal is definitely out there somewhere.
Bravely enduring the cold and ice, or just being dumb? That’s still up in the air…
Oh, there he is!
Even though there was a nice warm barn waiting just around the corner, Tango instead decided to go hang out under a frozen tree.
Seems like a good decision.
Although, the fact that the horse makes bad decisions in snowstorms isn’t the only reason the family thinks that Tango isn’t all there mentally.
He also has quite the funny way of sleeping.
No, Tango is not dead in this photo. He’s just casually taking a little nap.

If we were driving down the road and saw a horse laying like that, we would probably think he was dead too. Not Tango, however. That’s just how he prefers to catch his z’s.
Sometimes Tango also thinks he is a dog.
Although, occasionally, Tango also prefers the classic version of the game fetch with sticks.
Despite the fact that Tango has the IQ of a goldfish, he is still definitely a very lovable and beautiful animal, at least according to some..
The funniest photo of all was not taking by @mckellogs, however.
It was actually captured by Google while they were making their rounds shooting video for their Google Maps Street View service.

As the saying goes, the grass is always so much greener on the other side of the fence!
