Some surprising dashcam footage surfaced on the internet of a woman taking a nasty fall on a slippery pavement. The pedestrian took a bad landing on the glassy sheet of ice and her bags were flying around, but the driver of the car in front of her immediately braked to help.
The woman was noticeably struggling to get back on her feet as the passenger of the car in front of her stepped out to rescue her. When the Good Samaritan stepped out, it was a true spectacle to see.
Incredibly, none other than Santa Claus showed up to rescue the fallen woman.
This unexpected rescue by Father Christmas has gone viral on the internet after the dashcam footage was shared online. He carefully approached the woman and made sure not to take a nasty fall on the icy road himself.
The Good Samaritan then helped the woman back to her feet and picked up her fallen bags. Funnily enough, he even picked up her hat and put it back on as the woman was still recovering and finding her balance. Dave Cordoza captured the footage outside of a Tesco store in Watford, UK.
“Coming out of Tesco, I caught this kind act on my dashcam. I did laugh when Santa popped out of the car. The woman seemed to be okay.”
The harsh weather in the area was the result of a so-called “snow bomb” in the United Kingdom back in December 2017, when dozens of cities were covered in no less than a foot of snow. Thousands of schools kept their doors closed and traffic was severely jammed.
Be sure to check out this surprising footage in the video below. It can be best described as an emotional rollercoaster and one amazingly unexpected rescue. Santa Claus definitely didn’t mind postponing his Christmas duties for a while to help out this woman in need.

“There ought to be a competition for dash cam photography. This film could well be a winner, with the fast reaction of the driver, who immediately went into a graceful skidding stop and leaped out to be a Good Samaritan. A splendid, heartwarming dash cam movie!” another said.
Whether it’s delivering Christmas presents or helping out people in need on icy pavements, Santa Claus is a true hero that can do it all.
