If you have ever rocked long hair before in your life, then you probably understand what it is like to treasure it. It is truly a commitment in every way: it takes forever to grow out, you need to upkeep with dead ends, and you are definitely spending extra money on shampoo and conditioner just because you have to use so much.

And oh yeah, brushing it every day can be a whole to-do as well.

However, all of the upkeep strangely feels worth it because of course, at the end of the day, you’re left with a beautiful head of hair! Short hair is just as stunning, but when so much effort is put into a long mane, you can’t help but feel attached to it.

And then maybe one day, the moment comes where you want to switch up your style, AKA cut it all off. It seems like a drastic change and maybe that’s because it is, but it needs to happen because you are ready to become a new person!

In this incredible compilation of hair transformations, the first one we see is a girl with big, long locks who seems to be ready for a change.

Her hairstyle is pretty dramatic on its own. Her hair texture is so fluffy, her stylist actually makes a point to hold it all up just to show how fluffy and pillow-y it is. And there is a lot of it.

Additionally, she has a really unique color situation going on! She has super dramatic brunette roots that take up a solid first half of her head and then towards the bottom, it is blonde. It’s like a very dramatic ombré situation.

It’s definitely a style and we could see how it would be hard to part with, especially if she has had it for a while!

But she decides to dive into the unknown and gets the color completely re-done. We see footage of the stylist mysteriously painting some dye onto her head.

And finally he reveals the new look: Full brunette.

She decided to get rid of the blonde and even out the brunette, which looks very ashy and almost grey at some points — but in a really cool way. It’s like a lighter brown and she looks incredible.

In addition to that, he also did something to the texture of her hair so that it was not as frizzy. It was slightly more toned down but still huge. Just less frizz — and it also seems like he curled it a little bit so that each curl is a little more pronounced.

He did a stunning job. And then after that, we see a ton more people go under some serious hair transformations.

Some of the women have short hair while some of the women have super long hair.

One woman decided to go for a very sharp, pronounced bob with dramatic corners. Her color was also touched up so it looked a lot smoother.

Another woman with super long, brown hair kept it long but gave it a bit of a red tinge with some lighter highlights so that it looks super flowy and dynamic — we’re obsessed. She looks like Ariel from The Little Mermaid in real life.

We see another lady with a beautifully wavy brunette bob who decided to go full-on blonde. Like 100 percent bleach — and it comes out so good! Her transformation couldn’t have gone smoother.

When you see someone with super dark hair who wants to go platinum blonde, obviously you worry about their hair getting damaged. But it seems like this process was super safe and seamless.

Her final look is absolutely stunning.

It’s obvious that this stylist knows how to work some serious magic. We’re impressed!

This lady looks so good with both dark and light hair, it’s so great that she can pull off both! She does look like a different person though. It’s such a dramatic (and chic) transformation.
